nLite - Программа для создания своего собственного инсталяционного диска Windows XP. С её помощью вы можете создавать диски с уже интегрированными сервис паками. С необходимым набором утилит, драйверов, кодеков, антивирусными обновлениями, и многим другим. При создании диска есть возможность удалить Windows компоненты, как например Media Player, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, MSN Explorer, Messenger. Легко можно самому за пару кликов сделать собственный дистрибутив Windows XP Pro SP1 или SP2 + Updates + Office 2003 + ВАРЕЗ. Есть одна еще функция: позволяет автоматически устанавливать ключ (CD-Key) для Windows, то есть при установке он запрашиваться уже не будет! ****************************************************************** How about not even to install them with Windows ? nLite is a GUI for permanent Windows component removal by your choice. After removal there is an option to make bootable image ready for burning on cd or testing in virtual machines. With nLite you will be able to have Windows installation which on install doesn't include, or even contain on cd, unwanted components.

New version, much upgrades and mysterious bug is finally tracked down. Currently, including previous versions also, nLite has a limitation. That limitation is not so severe because it was always there and haven't bothered a majority of users. Problem is with manual instal (winnt.exe and winnt32.exe)...when you initiate setup with them it will report missing files even though files are on CD. So use this and any other nlite beta version only if you boot from CD/DVD when installing Windows. This problem was the reason for the delay and it will be solved in a week or two with 7imo's help. It has been pin-pointed but it requires more work and lot of users on the forum agreed that it isn't worth any more delay on this version because of all-time present bug which doesn't concern majority of nLite users. Thanks to 7imo for Administrator change name routine...this I find very useful, especially in the terms of security. So, 1.0 blocker is Manual Install bug which will be fixed soon. If you find some other confirmed bug you may report it to the forum (under Support). Driver integration haven't been changed so if you reported an issue I have written it down and will try to fix for next release. p.s. no need to redownload Alternative Runtimes if you use them, they haven't been changed. And be sure to uninstall older version of nLite before installing new one. njoy.
